Manju Verma (MB, BS, FRACGP, PhD, MS(Ophth)) joined the Ramsay Street Medical Centre over 9 years ago. After attaining her medical degree from University in India in 1978, she went on to complete a Fellowship of Ophthalmology. Upon immigrating to Australia in 1991 she further completed a PhD in Ocular Immunity. She holds a postgraduate Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Manju enjoys the friendly, family atmosphere of the Ramsay Street practice. She is passionate about all aspects of general practice including chronic disease and diabetes. She also has a special interest in diagnosis and biopsy of skin lesions. She especially enjoys her special area of expertise in ophthalmology. She travels to India regularly where she is involved in a number of charitable projects aimed at improving the eye health of both children and adults via screening programs and cataract surgery.
Dr Verma also teaches at the University of NSW, where she is able to pass on her extensive medical skills to her students.
