Ramsay Street Medical Centre’s strives to provide a high level of health care for our community.
We welcome booked appointments as well as walk-in consultations for those unforeseen health concerns.
Our GP’s are supported by a dedicated team of receptionists, nursing staff and allied health professionals including podiatrists, pathology staff, physiotherapists, chiropractors and psychologists, all working within our health precinct.
We are proud to have been serving the community since 1984.

8am to 7pm – Monday to Saturday
Our longer opening hours are part of our commitment to assist you as best we can, when you most need us and at a time that is convenient for you.
Making an appointment
Appointments are available for your convenience but are not essential. You are also welcome to attend without an appointment.
Appointment types include face to face consultations and tele-health.

When you book your appointment, feel free to provide any additional information that may assist us in determining if your consultation is urgent, so that we can best prioritise your needs.
Repeat scripts, results or referral letters
To minimize waiting times, you can request repeat scripts, results or referral letters by emailing us on receptionist@ramsaystreet.com.au or calling on 9799 5000. One of our doctors will call you to provide your request or further discuss your needs.

You can reach a member of our team in one of the following ways
- Call us on 9799 5000. Our phones are attended by 2-3 receptionist at one time, and we believe that speaking to a staff member is the best means of communication.
- Email receptionist@ramsaystreet.com.au . This is great for routine requests such as requesting scripts, results or certificates, of booking a routine appointment.
- For any feedback or if you would like to express a specific concern, please email communication@ramsaystreet.com.au. A senior team member will give your concern full consideration and provide a detailed response. Complaints may also be lodged a by contacting the Health Care Complaints Commission.
We will try to attend to any queries immediately or within 1-2 working days.
Our recall system
From time to time, we may need to follow-up pathology results, imaging reports or recommendations made by your GP or specialist. In such instances, the practice will send a message via your phone, by email or by post. Should you have a preference as to what type of communication you prefer, please advise one of our staff.
Your information
Your data and health information is totally confidential. Our staff are trained to ensure your information is safe. Our IT consultants provide regular review and upgrade of our system to minimize any risk of data breaches.
You have the right to request access to, and correction of, your personal information. Our practice acknowledges patients may request access to their medical records. We require you to put this request in writing and we will respond within a reasonable time.
When you attend, we will ask you to verify that your personal information is correct and current.
In order to best support you, we encourage you to provide:

- The name and contact details of a support person
